The Kinesiology lecture curriculum provides a solid foundation in anatomy, wellness, strength and conditioning, and exercise science. This preparation enables students to transfer successfully to four-year institutions and pursue advanced study in specialized areas within the discipline.

The Kinesiology Field of Study and Kinesiology pathway equips students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to excel in the field of Kinesiology and creates a seamless transfer for students interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree. Students earning a Kinesiology degree pursue careers in a variety of areas including exercise science, sports management, athletic training, sport and exercise psychology, fitness leadership, physical education-teacher, coaching, recreation and wellness, and pre-professional training for physical therapy, occupational therapy, medicine and other health related fields.
