Knitting, crochet, spinning, weaving – these are all common techniques for working with woven and non-woven textiles and fibers that you may be familiar with. Fibers can be taken from a variety of sources, including:

  • cotton (from seed pods)
  • linen (from flax stems)
  • silk (from silkworm cocoons)
  • wool (from sheep hair)

From clothing and tapestries, to rugs and more, this program will give you a solid introduction to this fine art form.
