Computer Programming

​Our computer programming offerings will prepare you for today’s constantly changing workplace.

Computer programmers create, design, write, test (debug/troubleshoot) and maintain the source code of computer programs. The source code is written in a select programming language, many of which are available to learn through continuing education programs at Dallas College, including:

  • Java
  • C++
  • Javascript
  • SQL
  • Python
  • and many more!

Programmers develop applications for the workplace environment, web and other interfaces. Programming knowledge can open the door to many jobs, such as a software programmer, developer or engineer.
