  • SBDC North Texas is currently open for business. All of our small business service centers are available to you during this difficult and unexpected time. One-on-one confidential consulting will continue. We are available to assist you by email, phone or video conference.
  • Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is an education program for small businesses that links learning to action. Participants gain practical skills in topics such as negotiation, marketing and employee management that can immediately be put into action.
  • Score is dedicated to helping small business people through mentoring and training. Volunteer mentor/counselors bring decades of experience in a variety of business disciplines and industries.
  • LiftFund Women's Business Center endeavors to support business owners, especially women and minorities, through business education and business consulting.
  • The Greater Hispanic Chamber of Commerce strives to promote, support and grow the Hispanic Business Community in North Texas. We seek the continuous improvement of the common good and quality of life in the community through effective advocacy, collaboration and access to resources and opportunities.
  • Asian Chamber of Texas was founded in 1986 and advocates for its members in the areas of business, cultural diversity and economic development.
  • Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce serves as an advocate for the creation, growth and general welfare of African American businesses in the Dallas community.
  • The Dallas Regional Chamber is one of the most established business organizations in the nation and serves as the voice of business and the champion of economic development and growth in the Dallas region. We work with our member companies and regional partners to strengthen our business community by advocating for pro-growth public policies, improving our educational system, attracting talented workers from around the world and enhancing the quality of life for all.

WBCS administers Women's Business Enterprise certification through the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the most widely recognized and respected women's certification in the United States.

  • The Dallas Entrepreneur Center (The DEC)is a 501c3 nonprofit organization driving innovation and economic impact by helping entrepreneurs start, build and grow their businesses. Through a number of innovation hubs across DFW, The DEC Network provides entrepreneurs with education, mentorship, community and advocacy.
  • The DEC at Redbird serves as an extension of the Dallas Entrepreneur Center (The DEC), a 501c3 that drives innovation and economic impact by helping entrepreneurs start, build and grow companies. We do this by providing co-working, education, mentorship and advocacy.

Financial Resources

  • SBA offers federal disaster loans for businesses, private nonprofits, homeowners and renters.
  • LiftFund is ready to assist you during this time. We have special public and private partnerships to assist small businesses across our footprint. Please note that there is limited funding for the special programs, but we are offering a LiftFund COVID-19 loan to assist small businesses during this time.
  • US Chamber of Commerce offers the latest resources, advice and information to help small businesses navigate this challenging time, including financial aid guides, remote working tips, best practices articles, webinars and town halls, and more.

Employee Learning Support

  • Solutions Development offers training by developing next-generation apprenticeships and securing and administering grants for employer training needs.
  • The Skills Development Fund COVID-19 Special Initiative is a new program from the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) for eligible applicants responding to the training needs of business partners adversely affected by COVID-19 and those employers retooling business processes to respond to the need for COVID-19-related necessities.
  • WorkReadyU offers career training program options dedicated to getting employees in a new field or advancing in a current job. We're expanding our offerings throughout the year, and getting our citizens to work a job that supplies a living wage is our top priority.
