This midterm edition of the Stress Shake-Off uses structured movement and line dancing to support stress reduction during one of the most demanding points in the semester. A brief embodied check-in before and after tracks shifts in perceived stress.

This classroom presentation will give students the opportunity to learn about self-confidence, self-concept and practice self-compassion.

Students will explore the importance of setting achievable academic goals, in addition to how these expectations impact their self-esteem and self-perception. Students will discuss how these factors impact academic motivation, life stage transition from HS to college, and adjusting to student related challenges.
