The event features backpacks arranged in public spaces, each representing a life lost to suicide, often accompanied by personal stories from loved ones. The goal is to "send silence packing" by sparking conversation, reducing stigma around mental health struggles, and encouraging people to seek help. The visual impact and shared stories create a compelling call to action for mental wellness, support, and connection. Location: Brookhaven Campus - Courtyard This event is hosted by Dallas College Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).
