DESCRIPTION:On April 9&amp;nbsp;and 10, the Dallas College Literature and Arts Festival at Cedar Valley Campus is back! This is a two-day celebration of creativity features workshops, live demonstrations, art exhibitions, and interactive classes and sessions for students, employees and community members. Confirmed participants so far include the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Public Library, Books and Brown Sugar, The Writer&amp;rsquo;s Garrett, The Perot Museum and others.&amp;nbsp; The festival will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, with classes starting around 8:45-9 a.m. and ending at 3. There will be musicians, vocalists and spoken word artists around campus between the N Building (where the main portion of the festival is occurring) and the E building (where some of the specialized classes are occurring). There will also be artists live painting between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in N and potentially in E. There are two gallery walks per day, a choir performance on Thursday and the Eastfield Dance Company will be performing on one of the days. Snacks and water are being handed out on Thursday, and there is a potential for swag each day On Friday, there will be a light grazing lunch. A grazing table of breakfast will be offered each morning at 8 a.m. We are looking forward to seeing you all there. Please RSVP for the festival! Location: Cedar Valley Campus, Bldgs. N and E157572
