In summer 2009, Dallas College's El Centro Campus introduced a new satellite center in the growing West Dallas community. The West Dallas Center is a satellite education center aimed at providing residents, businesses and the surrounding community with pathways to success in higher education.
With close proximity to downtown Dallas, the Medical District and three major highways, the West Dallas Center is highly accessible for both residents and working professionals in the surrounding community.
West Dallas Center students can take English as a Second Language (ESL) and High School Equivalency (HSE) preparation program, formerly known as GED, coursework to prepare them for many of the associate degrees and/or certificate programs offered at Dallas College.
