Mountain View College is proud to announce its Outstanding Student of the Year winner and finalists for 2020.
To be eligible for this nomination, students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, with 21 course hours completed at MVC. Students must be currently enrolled in at least 6 hours at MVC. Participating faculty members can nominate one student each; that faculty member then works with the student to submit a completed packet showcasing their achievements, including recommendation letters, transcript, resume, and a personal essay.
The students and nominators participate in a networking mixer with the judging committee, followed by individual interviews with the committee. The committee then determines three top winners based on an established rubric.
