(DALLAS) — Two Dallas County Community College District employees will be recognized at the end of May by the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development for promoting excellence in teaching and leadership.
Dr. Richard Plott, the district’s executive director of systemic reporting and analytics, and Georgeann Moss, DCCCD’s director of digital communications, are recipients of NISOD’s Excellence Awards. NISOD is a membership organization that recognizes and celebrates excellence in teaching and leadership at community and technical colleges.

Both administrators are being recognized for their commitment to DCCCD and also for their outstanding contributions to students and colleagues.
Plott was selected for his work and leadership on Data Depot, a network of labor market analysis. “It’s an honor to be recognized by my peers,” said Plott, who has been with the district nearly five years. Moss, who joined DCCCD in 1998, was honored for her work and leadership on the district’s online employee leave form project team.
Both recipients will receive their awards during NISOD’s annual International Conference on Teaching and Leadership, which will be held May 27-30 in Austin. Thirty-eight other recipients from across the district’s seven colleges also will be honored with awards during the conference.
