The North Texas Food Bank's Mobile Food Pantry will visit campus 1:30-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 31.
According to a fall 2016 survey, 64 percent of DCCCD students reported "marginal or worse food security" during the previous 30-day period and 27 percent reported very low food security.
Students and community members who quality can obtain free fresh fruits and vegetables. Food bank staff will also provide information on applying for food stamps.
The mobile pantry will be in the parking lot adjacent to S building.
Additional visits are scheduled for Feb. 28, March 28 and April 25.
