(DALLAS) – The Dallas County Community College District Foundation – through the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce – is offering seven scholarships that are available for area high school seniors who are interested in attending one of the system’s seven colleges: Brookhaven, Cedar Valley, Eastfield, El Centro, Mountain View, North Lake and Richland.
Each one-year, $1,400 scholarship will pay for tuition and books, up to $700 per semester. Recipients’ names will be announced by the DCCCD Foundation after applicants are selected. Deadlines and application information varies, based on each of the chamber’s requirements.
