Mountain View College's Graduating Class of 2019 is set to experience something new.
In recent years, commencement has taken place at Inspiring Body of Christ Church but as the number of students at MVC grow, so does the size of the graduation class. With that in mind, the college is excited to announce this year's ceremony will take place at The Theatre at Grand Prairie on May 16, 2019. Previously known as the Verizon Theater, The Theatre at Grand Prairie can seat 6,350 attendees, allowing for more family and friends to share the special day with graduates.
Specific details regarding the ceremony have been finalized by our Graduation Committee. For the first time, MVC will require tickets for entry- which are free. Visit the Graduation Information webpage for more information and updates on when tickets become available.
Students planning to graduate after completion of the Spring 2019 semester should make note of the dates below:
- March 4: Mandatory Online RSVP/Graduation Application due to participate and receive guest tickets.
- April: Graduation Information Letter mailed out about commencement details.
- April 18: Grad Fest | Ticket distribution | Cap and gown available for purchase.
- May 15: Graduation Rehearsal | Extra tickets available for students who RSVP'd
