EVENT - Published: Tuesday, 27 June 2017
We’re just a week and a half away from the end of the Summer 1 semester, but forget that. Your real concern is what you’re going to do a week from today when we’re all off for the Fourth of July.
Freedom! Barbecues! The beach! Freedom! The park! Sports! More freedom!
Or just a regular day off. I’m not here to micromanage what you do with your time.
But, if you do want to get out and have some fun – not just on the Fourth, but this whole extended weekend – then we’ve got you covered, with the help of some friends at
GuideLive,
D Magazine and
Visit Dallas.
(Let’s ignore the whole business-as-usual thing where some of us go to work/attend classes Monday, then we’re off Tuesday. It’s weird and I don’t like it, so let’s just put it in the corner and pretend we never talked about it.)
If you’re in the DFW area, enjoy a long weekend full of fun, general annoyance with the heat – will it rain? Who knows; it’s Texas! – and eventual exhaustion. Bathe in some FREEDOM and some free stuff:
