DALLAS—Explore the journey of moving forward at the Brookhaven College Humanities Storytelling Series, "Letting Go. Moving On. Taking Chances."
Brookhaven College presents the two-part, storytelling series Feb. 27 at noon and April 11 at 10:30 a.m. in Bldg. D, Room D208.
"Storytelling is a very important part of our culture. We think that the topics of 'Letting Go. Moving On. Taking Chances.' will be appealing to our students," said Ricky Reeves, humanities professor.
The series features local storytellers Edward Stautberg and Rashard Garrett on Feb. 27, and Tami Stowe, R Jane Hardin and Donald Griswold on April 11. The professional speakers are associated with the storytelling venue Oral Fixation.
