Hand in Hand (Foster Care)
Dallas College’s foster care program is designed to support students who were involved in the foster care system by providing professional guidance, educational support, and mentoring. Dedicated staff work with a campus-wide network of champions to assist students by focusing on their recruitment, retention, and success.
In addition to working one-on-one with students, the foster care program provides social activities, study groups, field trips and visits to workforce partners and four-year institutions.
