Adrian Silva

Grant Management Services Director

Adrian Silva is a caring leader with a strong work ethic and a passion for adult education. His leadership approach is grounded in discipline and service — values shaped by his experiences at the U.S. Naval Academy and his time leading education departments at federal correctional institutions.

Silva currently serves as the grant management services director at Dallas College. In his role, he manages over 25 federal and state grants for adult education and workforce readiness. In addition to ensuring compliance, he also leads college-wide training on grant management, budgeting, reporting, auditing and close-out processes.

Throughout his career, Silva has worked across diverse environments — from federal prisons and county government to veteran programs and higher education — but his greatest pride lies in the lives he has helped transform through education.

When he’s not sharing his expertise in leadership, you can find him on the road with his wife — especially in the fall at Mississippi State, where they host a popular tailgate for out-of-state parents. He looks forward to inspiring others to embrace resilience, adaptability and the power of education to change lives.
