Amber Bonasso

Manager of Live Events and Theatre Operations

Amber Bonasso is a dynamic leader with a lifelong passion for the arts. From feature films and theatrical productions to parades and live performances, Bonasso has always delighted in bringing people together through meaningful, immersive experiences. 

Bonasso currently serves as the manager of live events and theatre operations for Dallas College’s School of Creative Arts, Entertainment and Design (CAED). In this role, she oversees 11 theatrical venues across seven campuses and leads a team that produces over 1,000 events each year. She also helps oversee the college’s arts calendar and social media for live events, ensuring that programming is accessible and engaging for both students and the community. 

Bonasso’s career highlights reflect her ability to lead with creativity and precision, from producing a feature film distributed on Netflix to earning Broadway World’s Best Actress. Her proudest achievements, however, center on building collaborative teams and creating a culture of excellence within Dallas College’s live events operations. 

When she’s not orchestrating productions, Bonasso enjoys exploring new places with her husband, visiting museums, hiking, working out and spending time at the Fort Worth Zoo or Disneyland. She looks forward to extending her passion to the broader community.
