Jasmine Parker

Interim Senior Director of Career, Succession and Engagement

Dr. Jasmine Parker is a thoughtful and dynamic leader who never stops learning and growing. Her career in higher education began as a college sophomore and has spanned multiple areas, including academic affairs, student success and operations — giving her a holistic view of the student and employee experience.

Dr. Parker currently serves as interim senior director of career, succession and engagement at Dallas College. In this role, she leads a broad portfolio that includes employee and cultural engagement, career and succession planning and employee resource groups, which engage thousands of employees across nine groups. She also oversees enterprise programs for awards, recognition and celebrations, external volunteerism and the college’s Best Place to Work strategy.

Guided by her mentors and driven by curiosity, Dr. Parker has learned the importance of charting her own career path while studying those of others. She values listening to feedback and enacting meaningful change, believing that leadership is about creating spaces where people feel seen, heard and empowered.

When she’s not supporting employee development, Dr. Parker enjoys immersing herself in the arts, reading self-development books and cheering on her nieces and nephews at their programs. She looks forward to inspiring others to embrace lifelong learning and build stronger communities.
