Dr. Jason Treadway is a passionate and approachable leader who has always been drawn to math and science. With more than 30 years of experience in STEM, his career spans aerospace engineering, structural design, museum education and higher education — reflecting a lifelong commitment to innovation and learning.

Dr. Treadway serves as director of the STEM Institute at Dallas College, which serves more than 2,000 students annually. In this role, he oversees experiential learning programs, fosters internal collaborations and builds community partnerships that connect academic theory to real-world applications.

When he’s not mentoring students or advancing STEM initiatives, you can find Treadway exploring the outdoors with his family, sailing across bodies of water or strumming away on the guitar. He looks forward to helping the community understand the importance of linking academics to practical experiences while inspiring personal and professional growth.
