Jeffrey Miller

Dean of Student and Faculty Empowerment

Dr. Jeffrey Miller is a humble and committed educational leader who believes in the power of service, continuous learning and leading with integrity. His leadership philosophy centers on empowering others and creating meaningful impact for students and communities.

Dr. Miller currently serves as the dean of student and faculty empowerment at Dallas College’s School of Education, where he oversees academic and student affairs across seven campuses. In this role, he leads strategic initiatives to improve student success, manages academic advising for the BAS in Early Childhood Education, secures funding opportunities and cultivates partnerships with K–12 schools and universities.

Though he originally planned to pursue a career in engineering, Dr. Miller’s calling in education proved stronger. His willingness to take bold career risks — including a pivotal transition from K–12 to higher education — has fueled his professional growth and expanded his capacity to serve.

When he’s not building seamless pathways from high school to college, you can find Dr. Miller wrapped up in one of his many hobbies — maybe running a trail with a podcast in his ears or writing a Substack post while traveling. He looks forward to inspiring the community to pursue personal growth and champion student success at every stage.
