Professional Development Credit for Virtual Attendance
Employees who participate in Virtual Conference Day will receive two hours of professional development credit for attending. Attendance credit will be recorded in Workday with a completion date of Sept. 1, 2026, and it will apply to the 2026-2027 academic year.
Breakout Sessions
Additional professional development credits can be earned by participating in various virtual learning options during the scheduled Breakout Sessions.
Please note: The completion date your professional development credits are awarded will depend on the lesson(s) you choose.
Employees can choose from:
- On-Demand Courses, accessed via Workday Learning (credits will be awarded the day of completion)
- LinkedIn Learning (credits will be awarded the day of completion)
- Faculty webinars hosted by CETL, the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (credits will apply to the 2026-2027 academic year)

Workday Learning is Dallas College’s professional development platform, offering courses for professional development credit. Workday Learning is integrated with LinkedIn Learning.
We have highlighted some recommend courses below, but additional training can be accessed through Workday Learning. Credit for these courses is recorded in Workday based on the actual date you complete each course.
