Dallas County Supports the 17 Sustainable Development Goals

The United Nations SDGs are big and bold — and there are a lot of them. Fortunately, there are many individuals and organizations in Dallas County already working to support one or more of these goals.

If every person and organization in Dallas County commits to support at least one SDG, we'll achieve these goals much more quickly. Which goal will you commit to?

The 17 Goals

How the SDGs are categorized is strictly a matter of opinion. Here, we used the Stockholm Resilience Center's categorization scheme. You may choose to categorize them differently. The most important takeaway is that all of the goals are achievable if each of us commits to working on one or two goals that interest us the most.

The International Council for Science says that the 17 SDGs are all connected and that achieving some of these goals and targets at the same time is hard, but not impossible. What do you think?
