Join CAPS for a mindful moment of meditation on a Monday. CAPS counselor Aubrey Webster will provide an hour of guided mindfulness meditation. The workshop will begin with a short explanation of mindfulness and end with questions and a short discussion. Join in person or virtually.

From Dallas College to the World Cup: A Front-Row FIFA Adventure

This year, Dallas has taken center stage at the World Cup, hosting more matches than any other city with nine games. Behind the excitement, thousands of volunteers work to keep the tournament running smoothly and make sure the logistics go off without a hitch. One of them is Gabriel Martinez, a Dallas college alum and employee, who shares what it’s like to be part of one of the world’s biggest sporting events.

Bachelor-Bound and Backed by $25,000

Three Dallas College students are bachelor-bound and backed by $25,000 scholarships from the PepsiCo Foundation. Tamara Gilreath, Jeremy Romero and Moussa Mukendi were awarded the NextStep Scholarship alongside 17 other community college students from New York, Illinois, California, Florida and Colorado.

Dallas College to Host NJCAA DIII Soccer Championships in 2026 and 2027

Dallas College Mountain View will host the 2026 National Junior College Athletic Association Division III men's soccer national tournament, along with the 2027 women's national championship tournament.

Flying High with Dallas College

On June 18, Geoff Tchon and 13 classmates became the first-ever graduates of the Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) program. At least nine graduates secured employment before crossing the stage, highlighting the region's urgent need for skilled aviation talent.
