The information below is provided to assist eligible Continuing Education students with the TPEG-funded financial aid process.

Apply for ADMISSIONS:
Please specify to Financial Aid Advisor that you are enrolling for CONTINUING EDUCATION CLASSES (CE CLASSES)
Apply for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA):

Create FSA ID and PASSWORD:
Please make sure to complete the correct school year FAFSA.

Be sure to enter the required tax year information. Also, use the DATA RETRIEVAL tool to link your taxes with your FAFSA. This will allow adequate time for your FAFSA to be processed.
Please allow 3-7 business days for the FAFSA to be received at DCCCD. The results of your FAFSA -INSTITUTIONAL STUDENT INFORMATION REPORT (ISIR) is how we determine your Financial Aid Eligibility.
Follow-up with the FA office to determine if file is complete or if you have been selected for verification.
Please take this into consideration when deciding when you will begin taking TPEG-CE courses.
Take note that you will be responsible for paying for your TPEG-CE classes until you have been awarded TPEG-CE FUNDING (if you are eligible).
TPEG-CE funding will only pay for the TUITION COST of the CE COURSES.
You will be sent an email from DCCCD with instructions to complete the verification process within 5-7 days after your FAFSA has been processed by the Department of Education.
If selected for verification, this process will take 2-4 weeks before you can be awarded TPEG-CE funding if you are eligible.
