This is an example course sequence for students interested in pursuing the Logistics and Supply Chain Management – Logistics Distribution Technician Occupational Skills Award. It does not represent a contract, nor does it guarantee course availability. Following this pathway will help you earn the Logistics and Supply Chain Management – Logistics Distribution Technician Occupational Skills Award. Courses from this certificate may apply to the related A.A.S. degree. Students must earn at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College. The Logistics and Supply Chain Management Program is an industry certification program designed to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to enter the growing fields of logistics, advanced manufacturing, transportation, and warehousing. Students will acquire skills in overall logistics processes and procedures used in operations, warehousing, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and more from material point of origin (POO) to point of sale (POS) to the hands of the consumer. Upon successful completion, students will be prepared to earn the nationally recognized Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) logistic certification: Certified Logistic Associate (CLA) & Certified Logistics Technician (CLT). Courses that complete the Logistics Distribution Technician Occupational Skills Award are noted below.

Students pursuing this certificate are waived from the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards, but must meet course prerequisites, as long as the student completes the TSI waiver form prior to enrollment.

LMGT 1325 – Warehouse and Distribution Center Management This is the capstone course for this award.
