Arellano Tolotta, who will supervise more than 30 staff members in DCCCD’s marketing and communications office, said, "I am a product of Dallas County Community Colleges, and I have a deep personal connection with the impact this excellent educational system can have on a life path.”

She added, “In this new role with DCCCD, I hope to build on the great work already being done so that more area residents can benefit from its programs, just as I did."

Arellano Tolotta, who attended several DCCCD colleges before she transferred to the University of North Texas, has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and public relations. She has directed and implemented comprehensive and innovative digital marketing and communications strategies and plans throughout her career.

During her 16-year tenure at TI, she also served as global director of digital marketing, embedded processing business; global communications manager, microcontrollers and wireless; corporate communications manager; and several additional positions.

Arellano Tolotta also worked for the Williams Companies in Tulsa, Okla., as public relations manager and media relations representative before she joined TI.

She is a 2017 graduate of Leadership Dallas; served as a member of the board of directors for the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; and is a mentor and coach to several early-career and seasoned professionals.
