(May 18, 2018) Dallas, TX – El Centro College is proud to announce it has made Diverse: Issues In Higher Education’s 2018 Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges. The findings were published in the May 17, 2018 edition of the magazine.

With a focus on workplace diversity, staffing practices and work environment, the research team uses a web-based survey approach to determining the list, examining categories such as family friendliness, salary/benefits and professional development opportunities.

“At El Centro College, we take great pride in being described as a “family,” typified by the courteous and respectful way we treat each other, our students and those who walk through our doors,” said Dr. José Adames, President of El Centro.
