It's fun, spooky and hilarious.

The Fall 2018 semester's biggest student theatre production debuts on October 17 as "The Tingler" takes center stage at the MVC Performance Hall. This student-based production is a parody of the 1959 horror film by William Castle and is meant for ages 10 and up. Directed by professor Samantha Grace and adapted for the stage by college filmmaker Randy Clower, "The Tingler" is set to run from October 17-20. The performances will begin at 7:30 p.m., with a special matinee showtime set for 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 20.

Curious if this play fits your fancy? Clower believes, "if you like Shakespeare or the classics of the theatre like "Death of a Salesman" or "Man for All Seasons," then, "The Tinger" may not be for you! But if you want some crazy fun, lots of eye candy and have a love for the bad horror films of the 1950s and 60s, "The Tingler" is right up your alley. Plus, it’s being presented in “percepto”, the greatest gimmick since Smell-O-Vision."

As always, our MVC student-led productions are free and open to the public.
