The office of Congressman Marc Veasey is hosting its sixth annual Job Fair and Professional Workshops on Monday, December 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This year's event takes place inside the MVC Gym.
The U.S. Representative for Texas's 33rd congressional district has invited over 80 local employers to our campus, with the goal of helping those in the community connect with actively hiring employers.
Along with the opportunity for our students and community members to shake hands with potential employers, there will be workshops featuring: one-on-one resume consultations, skills building and networking, second chance at employment resources and veteran-to-civilian transition information.
