Brookhaven College will host the 2019 DCCCD STEM Summit April 26 from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Performance Hall.

The annual half-day conference allows DCCCD STEM students to introduce new ideas and provides a platform to network with business professionals. This year's theme is innovation with keynote address by Romelia Flores, IBM distinguished engineer and master inventor.

An industry panel of leading innovators will address how to turn ideas into action, followed by a student panel from UTDesign studio discussing their senior design projects and the power of collaboration.

The event wraps up with lunch and industry round tables where students can mix and mingle with local companies to learn how STEM majors fit within their organizations.
