El Centro College West Campus will host “Success!” - a pop-up talk featuring visionary retail developer Peter Brodsky from RedBird on Thursday, May 9, 11 a.m. - 12:20 p.m.
“As part of our district’s commitment to guided pathways, El Centro College created the pop-up talk series Success! to specifically provide students with multiple opportunities to directly engage with employers from a wide variety of industries, where business executives were able to have frank conversations about current trends as well as the exciting world of possibilities in today’s job market,” says Wade Hyde, faculty and chair of the marketing and entrepreneurship programs at ECC.
“By speaking with them face-to-face, these executives also get a unique opportunity to hear from our students about their own personal challenges and concerns as they move closer to transitioning from being a student to a professional,” continues Hyde.
