El Centro College was the first campus of the Dallas County Community College District in 1966. As the only community college located in downtown Dallas, we have a unique environment: creative, gritty, urban, and full of life. The work of our visual fine art faculty and staff reflects that as well as the vibrancy and culture of the community.
