Alumni award winners posing for photos

The DCCCD 2019-2020 Distinguished Alumni Awards on Oct. 11 honored two former Eastfield students.

Dr. Blake Flickner, head men’s basketball coach for Dallas Baptist University, received the Distinguished Alumni Award. Flickner played point guard for the Harvesters when his father, Bob Flicker, coached the team.

Alejandra “Aley” Salcedo, recent graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce and part-time employee in Arts & Communications, was honored with the Emerging Alumni Award.
