Original story

The Harvesters are headed to Minnesota to compete for the NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship.

The team has a first-round bye and plays its first game at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 12. Game time is subject to change.

The Harvesters earned their spot in the tournament by winning the Region V championship against Richland.

The Thunderducks will also be in Minnesota vying for the national title thanks to an at-large bid awarded for their 22-5 record. They are seeded No. 5 and play in round 1 at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

The tournament ends Saturday with the championship game at 5 p.m.

The Harvesters won the national title in 1997 and placed second in 2013, 2004 and 1992. This is their first tournament appearance since 2016, when they finished fourth.
