NLC basketball team with trustees

(DALLAS) — Standing head-and-shoulders above members of the board of trustees for the Dallas County Community College District, the North Lake College Blazers basketball team shared their national championship trophy and other honors during the board’s May meeting.
The Blazers recently won the 2008 National Junior College Athletic Association Division III men’s basketball championship, held in Delhi, N.Y. The team also won that title in 2006. Coach Tim McGraw was named Gary Cole Coach of the Tournament in both 2006 and 2008. Freshman Nathan Pratt was named to the All-Tournament Team, and Brian Sanders was named the tournament’s MVP.
