What Is QUEST? How Can QUEST Help?

QUEST: Dallas/Collin is a community-based workforce development and training program aimed to demonstrate the social and economic benefits achieved through investments in comprehensive, long term (one-two years) skills training. We assist individuals with tuition, books, supplies, child care, transportation, academic planning and job placement strategies.

How Do I Qualify?

QUEST wants to help students in the following career fields who will complete their certificates/degrees by December 2012.

Career fields:

  • Health occupations
  • Mechanics/repair and engineering
  • Logistics
  • Construction
  • Computer/information technology

To qualify, you must also:

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident
  • Hold a GED/high school diploma
  • Be a Dallas County resident
  • Meet certain income requirements

Find Out More! Campus Information Sessions/Interviews

QUEST: Dallas/Collin will be holding information sessions at DCCCD campuses and conducting on-the-spot interviews to determine eligibility and program acceptance.

Interested? Bring a completed application (PDF - 172KB), 2010 income tax return, Social Security card, driver’s license and current transcript/advising report.
