Want to take your education to the next level this fall? Then register now for credit classes at the colleges of DCCCD!

At just $59 per credit hour (or $177 per three-credit-hour class) for Dallas County residents, the colleges of DCCCD offer one of the best educational bargains around. (Learn more about our tuition.)

Are you new to college? If so, plan to start the registration process early. You must complete the application, orientation, assessment and advising process before you can register for classes. (Learn more about the admissions process.) Also, you may need to show proof of meningitis vaccination to register.

New! Fall Registration Ends Earlier Than Usual

If you’re a returning student, you may think you know how registration works. But a few things will be different this time, so pay attention.

Registration for Fall will end Wednesday, Aug. 21 — several days before classes start on Aug. 26. So it’s very important to register early.

Flex term registration will also stop on Aug. 21 and start again on Aug. 26.

Have questions? Contact an academic advisor at your college as soon as possible.

Classes Start in August

The leaves won't be falling yet, but Fall semester credit classes start Monday, Aug. 26.

When to Register

  • Regular registration (open to all students) started Monday, June 17, and continues through Wednesday, Aug. 21.

Note that we also offer Flex Term classes that don’t follow the regular semester schedules.

How to Register

  • Register online (if you are eligible — eConnect login required) or
  • Register on campus
Note that dates and times for on-campus registration may vary by college; visit your college’s website for the most current information.

If you are new to the colleges of DCCCD, we strongly recommend that you register in person at the college you plan to attend so you can get information about course prerequisites, the degrees we offer, the Texas Success Initiative (TSI), tuition and other important topics.
