(DALLAS) — The board of trustees for the Dallas County Community College District continues its search process for a new chancellor, who will join the system following the retirement of Dr. Wright Lassiter Jr. at the end of the year.
The trustees, who comprise the executive search committee, approved hiring the search firm of Greenwood/Asher and Associates Inc., Academic Search, during their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 7. The search firm will provide advice and assistance throughout the national search process.
The executive search committee continues to seek comments and ideas from community and business members as the group works to create specific criteria related to the characteristics and qualifications that DCCCD’s next CEO should possess.
“We invite community members to continue to share their thoughts with us as this critical process moves forward,” said Bob Ferguson, DCCCD trustee and chair of the executive search committee. “Please call or send an email to provide your comments.”
