(DALLAS) — Following the closing of all ITT Technical Institute campuses across the country this week, the Dallas County Community College District is offering to help former Dallas-area ITT students explore what path they take next — whether they can transfer credits or finish a degree — and also learn more about their federal financial aid options.
The district has compiled and placed information for former ITT Tech students at
dcccd.edu/ITT. The page contains a list of people from each of DCCCD’s seven colleges who can help them with their questions and possible transition to the district. Richland College has scheduled a total of four general information sessions for former ITT Tech students on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 12 and 13, at 6 and 7:30 p.m. in room 117 of Sabine Hall (first floor, located near the bookstore). The page also contains a link to a message from the U.S. Department of Education about the ITT closing and what students can do next.
DCCCD colleges will work with former ITT Tech students on a case-by-case basis who want to transfer credits

dbaggett@dcccd.edu; she can share information and make referrals to DCCCD colleges that offer the programs or classes they need or want to take. They also can call the contacts who are listed by college at
dcccd.edu/ITT to ask for help.
