DALLAS—Explore frame-by-frame story development through the lens of acclaimed professional photographers at Brookhaven College Oct. 19 from noon-3 p.m. in Bldg. X, Room X1091.

Photographers and photojournalists will share their motivation and process for crafting a story from concept to creation to publication through images, reveal tips and tricks of the trade, and answer questions. Topics will vary from speaker to speaker.

Featured speakers

Michael Mulvey, winner of the 2006 Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Photography, is a former senior staff photographer and sports/features photo editor at The Dallas Morning News.

Louis DeLuca is a five-time Regional Photographer of the Year for the National Press Photographers Association and staff photographer at The Dallas Morning News. His work has been published in Sports Illustrated, Life Magazine, ESPN The Magazine, Newsweek and The New York Times Magazine.

Mike Mezeul II is a freelance photographer. His work has been published in the Dallas Observer, Today.com, NBC News, UK Daily, Digital Camera Magazine, The Baltimore Sun, and others.

Kathy Tran is a former Brookhaven student and Courier staffer currently freelancing for numerous publications in Dallas as well as national publications such as Billboard.
