(DALLAS) — Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins wants to help area residents find jobs. Jenkins is presenting an event, the “You’re Hired Job Fest,” to bring Dallas County job seekers ages 18 or older and area employers together to fill approximately 2,000 positions. The free event will be held on Thursday, Oct. 26, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Sheraton Dallas Convention Center in the Houston Ballroom (third floor); the hotel is located at 400 N. Olive St. in downtown Dallas. Participating employers will include Amazon, FedEx, UPS, Walmart and others. The Dallas County Community College District and Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas are supporting the event organized by Jenkins’ office.
