The Summer 1 semester began about a week and a half ago. Looking at it glass half full, you’re almost halfway done!

So rules and priorities change a bit for summer courses. The semester’s only five weeks long as opposed to the traditional 16-week semester (great!), but that also means you need to be more disciplined (meh).

Listen, we can all agree that it’s easier to hole yourself up in your room or in a library somewhere when you’re in the trenches in the middle of November. In November, it’s cold and gray out. Summer is the time to go to the beach. Summer is the time to travel. Summer is the time to try out that new dope restaurant down the street you’ve had your eye on for the last few months, but funds have been a little out of whack, you know?

I’ll let our resident summertime experts, DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, explain further:

So take a look at these do’s and don’ts from the good people at StraighterLine and continue attacking the semester with enthusiasm unknown to mankind!
