Tutoring services are available at all the DCCCD colleges
Tutoring services are available at all seven campuses. Services vary by campus, so here is a quick rundown of each college’s tutoring programs.

All currently enrolled Brookhaven College students have access to free, open labs staffed with certified, trained tutors throughout the day and early evening. Drop-In tutors are available to assist students with a variety of subjects, including English, ESOL, math, science and more. No appointments are necessary, and students are assisted in small group in labs that are located all around the campus.

Tutoring is available on a "drop-in" basis; however, if you would like to make an appointment for a specific time, please call 972-860-2974. CVC encourages you to make an appointment for all written assignments.

Tutoring is located in the Eastfield Library, Building L, Room 200. EFC provides free tutoring services to current students in accounting, economics, mathematics, biology, A&P, chemistry, physics, geology, English, reading, writing, and Spanish. Eastfield offers tutoring in the form of help with homework and coursework, as well as help in preparing for the TSI and GED exams. The Learning Center's programs provide supplemental instruction, tutoring, workshops, and technology resources that inspire and aid students not only to achieve academic success, but also to become independent learners. The Learning Center offers many services including one-on-one tutoring, group tutoring, online tutoring, Supplemental Instruction, study space, study skills coaching, and workshops.

Instructional Support promotes student success by providing learning assistance and instructional resources designed to support the educational experiences of students. MVC offers skillful learning assistance to students in the Computer Labs and Reading, Writing, Mathematics, ESL/ESOL, GED and Adult Basic Education courses. Mountain View promotes the use of emerging technologies throughout the learning process and provides open lab access to students and faculty staffed with trained assistants.

- Provides free, convenient tutoring for a wide range of subjects. Instructional labs in a variety of disciplines are located throughout the campus. A diverse staff of trained, certified tutors is available to help North Lake students achieve their academic goals. Located in P333, the Science Learning Center provides a quiet study area, study support materials, and free tutoring to students currently enrolled in science courses.
- The Academic Skills Center (ASC) houses the Blazer Internet Lounge, ESL Lab, Foreign Language Lab, Reading Lab and Writing Center. This collaborative approach is designed to help students develop and improve writing and language skills.
- The North Lake College Student Resource Center provides student access to current technology including computers, software, email and internet.
- The Student Resource Center also issues student IDs and parking decals.
- Tutoring is available for accounting and computer programming. One-on-one and group tutoring sessions are available to currently enrolled students requesting assistance. Tutors are available by appointment during designated hours and days each week. Ask at the Student Resource Center front desk for more information.

The Learning Center offers a variety of resources. Meet with study groups, attend review sessions, and use the Science Corner as an additional resource to help you excel in your science courses. Connections workshops are offered by The Leaning Center to help students improve their study and interpersonal skills.- The Accounting Lab provides face-to-face and online tutoring for all levels of accounting. The ACCESS 1-to-1 Tutorial program helps students referred by Disability Services or Project SOAR attain educational and career goals by providing individualized tutoring and learning support services.
- The English Corner is a drop-in, free tutoring and study area, where students can get one-on-one help with English homework and writing assignments.
- The Higher Math Corner is a drop-in service center for students who need help with Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, Calculus I, II and III, Linear Algebra, Discrete Math, Differential Equations, Statistics, Business Math, Business Calculus I and II, and Contemporary Math. The Algebra Corner is a drop-in service center for students who need help with Algebra. RLC offers face-to-face drop-in tutoring for all Richland students in all levels of Developmental Math.
- The Reading Corner is a supportive learning environment where students can practice and strengthen their reading comprehension skills and monitor their progress.
- The Writing Center provides free one-on-one tutoring to students who are currently enrolled in any course at Richland College.
