Dallas County Community College District Chancellor Joe May visits Brookhaven College for an in-depth discussion on his vision for the future and key district initiatives on Oct. 15 at 1:30 p.m. in the Performance Hall. Dr. May and Dr. Thom Chesney, Brookhaven College president, will spotlight key college-specific initiatives and accomplishments that support the network.

As all the DCCCD colleges work together to create a cohesive and consistent experience for our students, Dr. May will visit each of the colleges to discuss where each fits within the bigger district-wide picture. The moderated conversation between college leadership will show how the efforts of each member of the Brookhaven family contributes to a successful future.

This important conversation will provide employees, students and the community with valuable insight and clarify how Brookhaven aligns with the district strategy and goals moving forward.

The discussion will highlight work, adding college accessibility through the Dallas Promise Network, developing student support services through external partnerships with DART and the North Texas Food Bank, and building an integrated master plan for the DCCCD that supports growth throughout the region for the developing workforce.
