DALLAS—Alternative fact doesn't exist. Information is either true or it's false. But in this era of fake news, how do you know what's real?

Award-winning journalist, Robert Wilonsky, will speak at Brookhaven College Nov. 8 at 10:30 a.m. in Room B240 to address why free speech matters even more in this climate of misinformation.

Wilonsky is a native of Dallas and city columnist for the Dallas Morning News. He has worked for the Dallas Times Herald, Dallas Observer and Los Angeles New Times, and his work has appeared in major publications throughout the country.

Join us for this thought-provoking and informative discussion with Q&A to follow. This event is free and open to the public.

This lecture is part of a year-long series of activities supporting freedom of speech and expression reflecting Brookhaven College's commitment to engaging our students and the community.
