Go Green at Earth Day Fest 2018
DALLAS—Show a little love for Mother Earth and support a sustainable environment at the 9th Annual Earth Day Fest on April 3 in the Commons Courtyard at Brookhaven College. Festivities begin at 11:30 a.m. and wrap up at 1:30 p.m.
The Trashionista Fashion Show promises to be the fashion event of the season as designers of trash fashion compete for prizes. Models take to the runway at noon showcasing evening wear and casual clothing created from recycled items. Other activities include music, giveaways, green pledge hand-painting, information booths and $2 veggie dogs (cash only).
Earth Day Fest is also a great opportunity to get a jump on your spring cleaning and drop off discarded items including recycle clothing and E-waste onsite with Goodwill Industries. (No televisions accepted.)
Drop in for the fun and learn how you can make a difference in protecting our environment. Small steps add up to a big difference when we all Go Green.
