Dr. Justin Lonon, executive vice chancellor and chancellor-elect of Dallas College, has been recognized by D CEO in its 2022 Dallas 500 publication recognizing the most influential leaders in North Texas. Award recipients were recognized at an awards dinner in November.
Since joining Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) in 2005, Lonon has provided direction and vision for nearly every functional area across the college, always maintaining a keen focus on serving the needs of students, employees and the community.
Lonon states in the publication that the best advice he can give is to "stay focused on the 'why' of what you're doing."
