Cedar Valley's Office of Advancement was recognized with two awards at the CASE Region IV Conference held March 1-3 in Grapevine. Region IV of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE, presents its Accolades awards on an annual basis to recognize excellence in alumni relations, communications, development, marketing, and advancement services.

Cedar Valley won the Gold Accolade Award in the Institutional Identity Program category for "Outside The Box: Moving Designs in Unusual Spaces." To meet needs of industry and business partners, CVC utilized a truck trailer to create a mobile workstation that also served the purpose of a moving billboard promoting Cedar Valley's career and technical programs. The interior workstations will have interactive, 3D virtual tour stations for potential students to experience life on the college campus and being a student in a particular program.

CVC also won the Bronze Accolade Award in the Out of Home Media category for "Driving Dynamic Designs" in which the Marketing and Advancement functions worked together to create social media campaigns and outdoor retail advertising to promote both the new mobile workstation and the overall CTE program offerings at Cedar Valley.
