(DALLAS) — It’s a week of joy at Dallas College. Three athletic teams are National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III champs. As the sounds of celebration echo through Dallas College, the teams are sharing their stories of triumph.

“I am beyond proud of these three teams. Three championship titles in one weekend is incredible, but they also made history. Our Eastfield volleyball team had a perfect season at 35-0, which has never been done in the Dallas Athletic Conference or NJCAA at our level. Our Brookhaven women’s soccer team won their third consecutive title, and fifth in seven years, while our Richland men’s soccer team won their sixth consecutive title, and 12th in program history. No one else in NJCAA history has done that,” said Dallas College Executive Athletic Director Sadiaa Jones.

“It is an honor to watch our athletes’ hard work and dedication, on and off the field, pay off on a national stage. To watch them do what they love, learn life lessons and earn a degree is inspiring. We have some incredible coaches and student athletes here at Dallas College, and I am excited about the future of Dallas College athletics,” she said.
